Leati Joseph Anoaʻi is an American professional wrestler and former football player. As a wrestler, he has been signed to WWE since 2010, and currently performs on a part-time basis on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Roman Reigns. He is the leader of The Bloodline stable and a member of the Anoaʻi family.

As a professional wrestler, he is currently signed to WWE, where in storyline, he is designated a "free agent", allowing him to appear on both the Raw and SmackDown brands; however, as of August 2023, he is on hiatus. Often regarded as one of the most prolific combat sport athletes in the world, Lesnar is the only person to have won the primary heavyweight championships of WWE, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW),[12] the Inoki Genome Federation (IGF), and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).[13]
The promotion was founded in 1953 as the Capitol Wrestling Corporation (CWC), a Northeastern territory of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). Following a dispute, CWC left the NWA and became the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) in April 1963. After rejoining the NWA in 1971, the WWWF was renamed the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1980 before the promotion left the NWA for good in 1983. In 2002, following a legal dispute with the World Wildlife Fund, the WWF was renamed World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). In 2011, the promotion ceased branding itself as World Wrestling Entertainment and began solely branding itself with the initials WWE
